Sometimes, and for various reasons, payments systems go a little berserk. If this happens to you, then please do get in touch with us as we can help with any such issues on a personal basis. In the meantime, we have come up with a few things that you can try.
Check your details
Sometimes, a payment will fail because of a tiny detail. Check your card's expiry date, security code and card number one more time, just in case. Are you using a different shipping address to your billing address? Check that you've entered these the right way around, as this could indeed be the reason. The payment request may appear to be from Blaze Ltd. or SMIDSY Ltd. (our other business name).
Check with your bank
If you are living overseas or if you are paying in a different currency than what you'd usually use, your bank may have automatically flagged the transaction as suspicious. That's okay - we won't take it personally, but please do inform them that you intend to make a purchase and instruct them to authorise this one-time payment. Remember that we offer several payment currencies on all purchases via our website, blaze.cc.
Check your balance
See if you have sufficient funds in your account to complete your purchase. If you are paying in a different currency, then check that you have enough after the currency transfer has been made and if your bank chooses to add fees. PayPal is one of the payment methods that we offer via our website, and if you are using PayPal then check your balance here also.
Check our stock levels
Our website also has an inventory management system which should prevent us selling more products than we physically have in stock. At busy periods, there is the potential that we have run out of stock in the time it takes for you to complete your transaction. If you believe this to be the case, then open a new webpage and check if our site, blaze.cc, says 'sold out' against the product that you are ordering. This is not all bad news - get in touch with us directly, as we hold stock in several locations and might well be able to help you out!
